Friendster ends support for Friendster iCafe software and services.
As of June 1, 2016, support and updates for Friendster iCafe are no longer available.
Friendster Sdn. Bhd. (Friendster) has been providing support for Friendster iCafe for the last 16 years and the time has come for the company to reinvent and invest its resources towards supporting more recent technologies so that the company can continue to deliver great new innovation.Therefore, the software and technical support for the cybercafé management system, Friendster iCafe will no longer be available.
Friendster has totally stopped providing Frienster iCafe to be used at Cybercafés. If you have already Friendster iCafe installed, you can continue to use the software for a limited time as it does not support the latest software updates. This means that if your personal computers (PCs) are running on new updates of Windows Computer Operating System (Windows OS), the PCs may not support or use Friendster iCafe.
What happens if I continue using Friendster iCafe?
If you continue to use Friendster iCafe, knowing the technical support has ended, your Friendster iCafe software will still work on your current PC, however it might not work anymore once you have upgraded or optimised the recent version of Windows OS.
What does it mean if my version of Windows OS is no longer supported?
An unsupported version of Friendster iCafe will no longer receive updates or can be used in the latest Windows OS. These include the billing, accounting, pricing, customer information and management system updates.
What if I encounter any problem in using Friendster iCafe?
We will no longer provide any technical support and customer service. The software will be no longer available in the market and there will not be any new version of this technology.
